It is important for both clients and providers to have a sound and easily comprehensible idea of the terms of business and the cost of services. For this reason the Company, has a simple and easily comprehensible contract which is applicable to the services it provides. The terms extend to any subcontractors introduced by the Company.

No one apart from Dr Peter L d'Ambrumenil, the Managing Director, has any right to alter or amend any of the terms and no alteration or amendment will be considered valid unless it is in writing and signed by Dr Peter L d'Ambrumenil. No other person is authorised to sign on his behalf.

The major terms applicable to the contact are:

  1. The contact shall be deemed to be made in Bridgwater, in England and the English Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over the terms or interpretation of the terms of the contract or any dispute arising from them or from any service provided under the terms thereof.
  2. Payment of all fees and disbursements shall be in Pounds Sterling, and may be made by means of a Sterling bankers' draft, or an electronic credit transfer. Under no circumstances will personal or company cheques be accepted unless the client is an English firm, in which case a company cheque will be accepted, subject to prior agreement with Dr Peter L d'Ambrumenil. All financial instruments will be made out to Aeromedical Ltd. The company may in its discretion allow the client to use a credit card to guarantee payment, which must be made by Bank transfer. In these circumstances the company will hold a premium of 6% of the total sum in addition to the basic charges, on the credit card as a guarantee. In the event of non payment the sum owed plus this 6% premium will be collected from the card.
  3. Dr Peter L d'Ambrumenil and the company reserve the right to require clients to pay for all services and disbursements in advance of their being incurred, or to require clients to pay for air fares or other major disbursements directly to the provider.
